Inspired by David Lankes' mission of new librarianship and conversation theory, we developed a proposal for a library-based program to facilitate incarcerated women's transition beyond bars through designing personalized programming in collaboration with community partners. Also presented the poster session at the 2015 iSchool Student Conference, adapting our program to incorporate ideas gathered from conversations with professionals at the 2015 OLA Super Conference. The project was also showcased at David Lankes' talk, "Radical Librarians," for the 2015 Bertha Bassam Lecture at the University of Toronto |
